On behalf of the Executive Committee for 2026–2028, we extend our sincere gratitude and are honoured to take on this responsibility to be fully committed to upholding the values, vision, and mission of MSBMB with dedication and purpose.

We wish to express our deepest appreciation to the outgoing committee of 2024–2026 for their exemplary leadership and tireless service. Their efforts in strengthening the three pillars of the Society — advancing professionalism, fostering academia-industry-community collaboration, and expanding MSBMB's influence at the local, national, and international levels — have laid a solid foundation upon which we are proud to build upon further.

As we enter our 52nd year, MSBMB continues to grow as a vibrant and dynamic scientific society. The momentum generated over the decades, from our founding members through to our most recent milestone of the 50th Golden Jubilee, reminds us of the enduring legacy we carry forward. We remain deeply inspired by the contributions of all who have shaped this society, and we are resolute in ensuring that MSBMB continues to evolve, innovate, and remain relevant to the scientific community.

For the term ahead, the committee is committed to driving meaningful initiatives that advance the fields of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Malaysia. Our priorities include strengthening membership engagement, creating more opportunities for students and early-career researchers, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and expanding our partnerships with universities, research institutions, government agencies and industry stakeholders. We also aim to enhance MSBMB's digital presence and accessibility, ensuring that all members — regardless of location — remain informed, connected, and empowered.

As an affiliated body of the FAOBMB and IUBMB, MSBMB remains your gateway to a wealth of international opportunities, including prestigious awards, fellowships, research grants, and global scientific networks. We are committed to ensuring that these benefits are communicated effectively and made accessible to all members.
