ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The Organising Committee welcomes the submission of original contributions for oral, rapid oral and poster presentations on the following topics, and related areas:

AI, Multi-Omics, and Computational Biology (SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)

Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being)
-
Natural Products and Bioactive Metabolites (SDG 15: Life on Land)
-
Agricultural and Industrial Biotechnology (SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production)
-
Structural Biology and Protein Dynamics (SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)
-
Microbiology, Immunology, and Infection Biology (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being)
Instruction for authors:
Each participant is limited to ONE paper as the presenting author but may co-author other papers.

Abstract must be in English and not exceed 250 words.

All text should be single-spaced, in Calibri font size 12.

Abstract should be submitted in Microsoft word .doc or .docx format.
-
Abstract should consist of a title (capitalized, bold), full name of author(s), affiliation of author(s) (italicised), and body of abstract.
-
Provide up to 5 keywords.
-
Presenting author’s name should be in bold.
-
Presenting author must be a registered participant of IM-MSBMB 50.
-
Corresponding author should be indicated with an asterisk (*) and the email provided.
Incorrectly formatted submissions or those requiring English editing will be returned to the submitting author for amendments prior to acceptance.

Abstract Submission
Abstract submission can be done online via the ABSTRACT PORTAL.
Abstract submission closes on (Oral/Rapid Oral/Poster) 26th June 2026
The Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and notifications regarding its status will be sent to the Corresponding Author once the review process is completed.
Note:
*Oral Presentations will be allocated to the highest-ranking abstracts, unless stated that they would prefer a Poster Presentation only.
**After allocation of oral presentations, all remaining submissions will be considered for Poster Presentation.
Publication Opportunity
Authors of the selected abstracts will be invited to submit their full research article to Malaysian Journal of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (E-ISSN 2600-9005; Indexed by SCOPUS and MYCITE).
