Dear MSBMB members, 

On behalf of the incoming committee of 2021-2023, thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve the Society.  Your committee now comprises of the following

In addition to the Council, the MSBMB plans to engage with our community via co-opted council members and our growing list of University representatives. We welcome members participation in organising activities of the Society or jointly organised events with partner institutions.  We hope to have something for everyone.  
                 
We wish to acknowledge the contribution of the outgoing committee 2019-2021, led by Prof Lim Yang Mooi, who established much of the needed foundation for the Society to embrace the challenges of the new decade.  To build further on this foundation, we are planning a series of events and initiatives that is intended to grow the Society’s footprint and reputation in the country and region.  

Your committee will continue to engage with members of the Society, network with peers nationally and internationally to identify opportunities and benefits for our members.  As an affiliated body to the FAOBMB and IUBMB, MSBMB members become eligible to apply for awards, fellowships and grants made available by these international bodies.  We encourage you to visit our website often to check out the latest news in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology.
